The first thing we all have to do to stop the virus in its tracks is to exercise good hygiene. That means washing our hands regularly with soap and water for up to 20" or more. Stop touching your face, and remember to sanitize often when coming into contact with other people or objects, shopping bags etc.

THANKING ALL ESSENTIAL WORKERS ON THE FRONT LINE
NISSAN AND UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA'S FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES COMBAT COVID-19 WITH INTUBOXES
In the fight against COVID-19, Nissan has partnered with the University of Pretoria's Health Sciences faculty to design INTUboxes, an innovation that will protect our frontline health care professionals who treat COVID-19 patients.
The INTUbox is a transparent vessel-box used to protect health professionals who would have to intubate and treat acutely ill COVID-19 patients. The INTUbox prevents viral droplets spreading to the attending health professionals by containing droplets inside the box, significantly reducing the risk of exposure.
NISSAN GROUP OF AFRICA AND WITS JOIN HANDS AGAINST THE COVID-19 BATTLE.
Nissan stands united with the nation in our joint efforts to flatten the COVID-19 curve - with great appreciation to all those who are on the frontline, risking their safety for all of ours.
To assist in these efforts, Nissan Group of Africa have joined forces with the University of Witwatersrand Reproductive Health and HIV Institute (WITS RHI) to support the Department of Health (DoH)’s COVID-19 screening programme in the City of Tshwane, in the Gauteng province.
The company made available 12 Nissan and Datsun sedan vehicles to WITS RHI employees who will be conducting COVID-19 screening in the communities of Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa, Winterveldt and Hammanskraal, as well as other areas north of the city in the Gauteng province. The programme kicked-off this week and will run until early May, or for as long as the national government deems necessary.

The virus isn't airborne. But when an infected person coughs, sneezes or touches anything the virus can be transmitted. Let's make sure we observe a safe distance between ourselves and the next person to avoid infection. In fact the best way to protect yourself and others is to avoid groups all together and just to stay home. That's the safest place.

The road to recovery is going to be long and tough. It's going to be especially hard for the old, the immune compromised and the poor. As the virus spreads disease, fear, mistrust and contempt we can beat it together with solidarity, by spreading kindness and consideration.
