Earlier this year, we announced plans for a R3 billion investment into our manufacturing facility in Rosslyn, Pretoria.

Fast-forward to now, and we've made leaps and strides in using this investment to prepare the plant for the production of the new Nissan Navara.

For the first time in history - the full model line-up of the next generation Navara will be produced on home soil, made in Africa for Africans. I am immensely proud that we have overcome adversity and the effects of Covid to reach this milestone and bring this amazing pickup to our plant in Rosslyn. THE CREATION OF

1 200 JOBS

Production of the new Navara has already started, and as things progress, this move will create 1 200 new jobs at the plant and across the supply chain. With the goal of producing 20 000 Navaras a year, we'll need skilled hands on deck to help make it all happen. 

 

But it's not only about employment, we also want to create opportunities for sustainable entrepreneurship. We've identified 15 new black-owned businesses that we will work with and support in alignment with the production of the new Navara.
